We are currently looking for a (Senior) Controller (all genders) for our Cologne office to expand our regional Finance team supporting BCG Platinion EMESA.
The BCG Platinion EMESA Finance team provides our leadership with analysis and reporting to make informed strategic decisions on running, growing, and improving the business. In addition, the team controls the BCG Platinion P&L and drives planning exercises. As a result, members of the team receive significant exposure to the overall business and develop networks across the organization.
Shape the world of tomorrow
- Your support the Managing Directors with their project financials across the EMESA Region
- You provide reportings and analysis to Leadership
- You update, improve and build Finance Dashboards (using analytics tools such as SAP Business Objects, Alteryx and Tableau)
- You ensure proper control of the P&L (revenues, salaries, other costs…)
- You participate in periodic planning exercise, in collaboration with Leadership and other functions
- You participate in the Global Finance transformation (e.g. SAP ERP introduction)
You can help us make a difference
- You have a university degree in finance, economics, or business administration
- Your German and English are very good in both written and spoken forms, and knowledge of another European language (French, Spanish, Portuguese...) would be an advantage
- You have at least three years of relevant professional experience (consulting, controlling, data analysis...)
- You have a proactive, solution-oriented working style, excellent analytical skills, and additionally, an eye for details
- You are proficient in using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and engage others (including international senior management), complete your profile
- Experience with Business Objects, Alteryx, and Tableau is advantageous
